GPS attendance software that feeds payroll, misconduct and performance
Clock-ins are only useful if something happens with them. MACH-HRM verifies where staff clock in, resolves the right shift, and then uses the result: overtime goes to payroll, lateness can open a misconduct case, and the attendance rate can score a performance KPI.
Attendance is part of the Attendance & Productivity add-on.
Know where staff actually clocked in
Office, client-site and remote work modes are supported, with different rules for each.
- Geofences for offices and client sites, with a verification result and trust score for each clock-in
- Anomaly detection on location data to catch spoofing
- Optional periodic location checks during the day
- Location can be made mandatory for clock-in and clock-out
- Multiple clock-in sessions in one day for staff who step out and return
Shifts that match how you really work
Lateness is measured against the shift a person was actually rostered on, not a single organisation-wide start time.
- Shift rosters and shift assignments, resolved at the moment of clock-in
- Overnight shifts handled correctly instead of reading as hours late
- Optional restriction on clocking in too early
- Automatic clock-out at shift end for organisations that enable it
- Weekend days and public holidays configured for your organisation
Reports your managers will use
Per-employee and per-department attendance summaries cover present, late, half-day and absent days, work hours, overtime and late minutes, with a work-mode breakdown.
How attendance connects to the rest of MACH-HRM
- Payroll
Overtime hours are paid in the pay run when overtime is enabled.
- Misconduct management
Late arrivals and absences can open disciplinary cases automatically.
- Performance management
Attendance rate can score a KPI directly, with approved leave excluded.
- Leave management
Weekends, public holidays and approved leave are respected when working days are counted.
Frequently asked questions
Can it stop staff clocking in from the wrong place?
Yes. When geofencing is required, a clock-in outside an approved office or client location is rejected. Remote work is recorded and flagged rather than blocked.
Does it support night shifts?
Yes. Overnight shifts are resolved so a normal night-shift clock-in is not treated as hours late.
Does attendance affect payroll?
Overtime hours recorded in attendance are paid through payroll when overtime is enabled. Lateness and absence are handled through the misconduct process rather than as silent deductions.
